“And Abraham lifted up his eyes and looked, and behold, behind him was a ram, caught in a thicket by his horns. And Abraham went and took the ram and offered it up as a burnt offering instead of his son.” Genesis 22:13

Abraham had no way to know what resolution God was bringing, he simply followed Him, preparing to do the unthinkable…sacrifice his son. God calls us all to do things that are way beyond our human ability and He always provides the means to accomplish the call. It’s not your place to question Him or answer for Him, you merely need to follow Him and see what happens. There may not always be a ram, you may have to sacrifice something, but know that God is with you and that your obedience is the ultimate desire of His heart.
